- The PC should be located in an enclosed ventilated, relatively dust-free environment,
and situated either on a table-top or sturdy shelf unit. The PC is to be plugged
into the UPS. Which may be on the floor. The UPS, printer and video monitor

For RoomService II operation, the CATV distribution must be traceable
to one common feed point. The maximum loss from any room back to the central
distribution panel cannot exceed 85 dB at 26.75 and 111.0 MHz. No other system may
be sharing, or interfering with the CATV cable within 1 MHz of the two RoomService
II frequencies.
The RoomService II system does not require any CATV line amplifiers,
repeaters or tapes. Communication between any room vend unit and the front desk
computer occurs in an on-demand basis and results in no significant CATV interface since
the system is not continually polling all the rooms.
